A company built on the docks of Tema — and rebuilt every day.
Cosmopolitan Logistics was founded in 2009 by a small team of customs brokers who believed West African importers deserved the same operational discipline available to shippers in Rotterdam, Singapore or Long Beach.
Fifteen years later, we operate integrated warehousing, freight forwarding, road transport and end-to-end supply chain services for enterprise clients across mining, energy, FMCG, pharmaceuticals and industrial project cargo.
Every shipment we move is engineered — routed, cleared, stored and delivered against measurable service-level commitments. That is our signature. That is why global brands choose Tema.

Founded in Tema
Established as a specialist customs brokerage serving importers into Ghana's flagship port.
- 2012
Warehousing infrastructure
Commissioned our first bonded warehouse near the Tema Free Zone, adding storage and inventory services.
- 2015
Freight forwarding desk
Opened dedicated sea and air freight desks with certified global partner network across four continents.
- 2018
Fleet & distribution
Launched GPS-tracked road haulage across the Accra–Tema–Kumasi–Tamale corridor and neighbouring markets.
- 2021
Regional expansion
Extended overland coverage into Togo, Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire; achieved AEO status with Ghana Customs.

Integrated supply chain platform

John founded Cosmopolitan Logistics in Tema to give West African importers the same operational discipline available to shippers in the world's great port cities.
